How long does a detail take?
A Revive detail typically takes 2–3 hours. Restore and Preserve packages run 3–5 hours depending on vehicle size and condition. A Legacy detail is a full-day commitment (5–8 hours) because hand-applied wax and deep interior work take time to do right. We never rush a job to hit a clock.
How often should I have my vehicle detailed?
For daily drivers in the Black Hills, we recommend a Revive or Restore every 2–3 months and a Preserve or Legacy detail twice a year, once in spring after winter salt season and once in fall before the cold sets in. Vehicles that see heavy use, gravel roads, or pet passengers benefit from more frequent service.
What's the difference between Revive and Legacy?
Revive is a thorough clean. Think of it as everything a car wash should be but isn't. Exterior wash, interior vacuum and wipe-down, clean windows, dressed tires. Legacy is the full treatment: everything in Revive plus spray wax, chrome polish, carpet and seat extraction, and a premium hand-applied wax that creates a deep, lasting shine and months of paint protection. It's the difference between clean and showroom.
Do you offer mobile detailing service?
Yes. We operate out of our shop at 4501 Seger Dr Ste 207 in Rapid City, and we offer mobile detailing across the Black Hills region, including Rapid City, Box Elder, Sturgis, Spearfish, Deadwood, Hill City, Keystone, Custer, and Hot Springs. We bring everything we need to your home, office, or job site.
Can you handle heavy pet hair?
Absolutely. Pet hair removal is one of our most requested add-on services. We use specialized tools and techniques to extract pet hair from fabric seats, carpet fibers, and hard-to-reach crevices. The cost is quoted based on severity. A Golden Retriever who rides daily is a different job than a cat who sat in the back seat once.
